Welcome to the Bliss Weddings Blog.

Well a Big Hello to you, its lovely to see you.

I am Katie and since 2010 I have been Planning & Co-ordinating Weddings.

In February 2014 I put my planning skills to good use when I got married myself to my lovely husband Ben. We got married 10 years to the day since our journey began - so as you can imagine I had set myself a big big challenge but I did pull it off even if I do say so myself.

So after a little bit of time away I am now back here to share the delights of all things Wedding. Regular features will be Honeymoon Hotspot, Wedding Venues, Pop the Questions, Soppy Sundays, Real Weddings plus much more as the blog goes on.

AND I am planning on sharing my Wedding experience with you all too.

So enjoy, come back soon and why not get in touch blissweddings@outlook.com

Bonjour! How are you?

Today I have the most wonderful Wedding for you and has been photographed by the incredibly talented Camilla Arnhold.

We have not just one boat but two! We have a beautiful Bride and also a handsome Groom. What glorious weather they had and it just has to be said they have gorgeous flowers and stunning Bridesmaids! Gosh there is just so much I can find to love about today's wedding and for those of you looking for some lovely wedding inspiration I really do think you will find it here.

You are in for a treat people, this is the most wonderful, fun filled nautical wedding taking place on the most epic ship ever, the HMS Warrior then a smaller boat, then the lovely Hayling Island Sailing Club. All in all, it was an amazing seasidey day. The beautiful bride Amy is one of my dearest friend’s sisters so it was extra special for me to be there on their big day. The ceremony took place on the impressive HMS Warrior where Amy walked down the aisle to a band of ukuleles. After the ceremony the guests were able to enjoy champagne on the ships deck before making their way to the Sailing Club. I was lucky enough to be invited aboard the family’s private boat to travel along the coast to Hayling Island. As soon as everyone’s feet touched the sand it was party time, there was such a relaxed and fun vibe helped by the insanely good weather. The sailing club was decked out in nautical goodies including lovely paper fans made by Amy’s lovely mum. I was able to drag the newlyweds out for a couple of sunset pics on the sandy beach; we could have been in the Mediterranean! A beautiful day for a beautiful couple, congratulations Mr & Mrs Rook!
