So with my biased eyes I have a glorious wedding photographed by the incredibly talented Anna Hardy. I myself was seriously considering getting hitched at Manchester Town Hall as it is one of the most beautiful buildings both inside and out but we chose to get married in the town where we have both grown up on the outskirts of town. With this in mind I can't ever resist taking a sneak peak on Weddings held there.
Enough of my waffle lets get on with the wedding...

I love Manchester weddings, and the Deaf Institute is one of my favourite music venues in the city, so a combination of the two is pretty killer! After photographing my friend Caroline’s wedding there a couple of years ago, I’d been really keen to do it again, so when Sophie and Chris got in touch a few weeks before their wedding to make a last minute booking for the Deaf Institute and Manchester Town Hall I was over the moon! Their laid back approach to booking a photographer was totally reflected in how laid back the day was – it was so much fun and so relaxed, just my cup of tea. We were even treated to some good old fashioned Manchester sunshine. The Deaf Institute, although not a traditional wedding venue, was absolutely amazing for the reception – all the nicer for not being a traditional wedding venue in fact! I loved how Sophie and Chris made use of the fact that it’s a live music venue to have live music from 52 Skidoo(incredible band!) on the stage during the meal, and the place looked amazing. If you’d like to hear more about the day, including inspiration and suppliers etc, check out their feature on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings… and here are some of my favourites from the day…
And now I feel all loved up and actually rather ready to party!
I must remind myself that it is 10am...
Love
