Whatever you get up to today do enjoy! Before you set off on the day's activities please take a few moments to delve into today's Real Wedding which is from Kent. Claire and David are the stars of the show and their Wedding was at Wadhurst Castle. We have kilts, outdoors-ness in the form of ceremony, games and speeches, we have a very very divine dress and a happy couple. What more could you want on a Saturday?
Rebecca Douglas reveals a bit more about the day itself - I'm sure you will agree her work is magnificent so why not trip over to her website and blog to explore more.

David and Claire had a wonderful wedding day at Wadhurst Castle on a warm day filled with sunshine, singing and smiles! They’d planned a really relaxed day for their family and friends, some of whom had travelled all the way from Scotland! I do love a Scottish Wedding, it reminds me of our happy wedding day every time! Claire arrived for a quick change into the most stunning tea length dress and the most stunning pair of glitter Louboutins while guests made their way to the secret garden for their ceremony. I love Claire’s reaction as she walked down the aisle and their super cute tartan clad son Elliot was their ring bearer. Their champagne reception on the terrace was gorgeous with music played by friends while the kids (and big kids) played with the lawn games. It is fair to say that the view from the terrace is just stunning as it rolls across The Weald and the relaxed speeches on the terrace were lovely. I loved the infographic that David put together about their story, he’s a very talented graphic designer and this came through in the Menu and Seating Plan too! Their meal was served by some nominated experts on each table, who donned some special attire for the job! I love the light we were bathed in during the early evening portraits under the gorgeous pink Camelia tree, so soft and golden! Their first dance was epic, look at Claire’s dress! Claire is a singer and surprised David when she joined the band and sang Don Henley’s Boys of Summer, it was sensational and I’ll always think of this moment when I hear it! You need to press play to their first dance, Happy by Pharell Williams while you look through this post as you can’t help but beam when you look at their happy faces
