Monday is once again upon us and it means that we get chance to go to another lovely scottish wedding. Todays wedding wonder is no exception to the fabulousness that we always find when we travel on our journey to Scotland.
We have today a wedding from
Silver Photography which Trevor Wilson is the mastermind behind. I believe that all the weddings we feature on here are the cream of the crop but I am in LOVE with their Table Plan idea! Excellent creativity.

At the end of April, on a lovely sunny day, I was pleased to be photographing a very fun informal wedding at
St Andrews in the Square in Glasgow.
St Andrews in the Square, a repurposed church, is a really nice little place, full of natural light, nestled in between the Merchant City and Glasgow Green and I have enjoyed photographing quite a few weddings there in the past few years. When there is a lot of natural light at a wedding venue, such as this one, I can work largely without a flash on the camera and instead use fast prime lenses (feel free to ask about this in the comments if you are interested in photography…) which enable me to be even more unobtrusive than I already am – I like it that way!
Gemma and Jack wanted the photography to be very natural and unposed so once the humanist ceremony was over I was pretty much left to do my own thing! You will see from the photographs below that it was a great fun wedding with loads of really personal handmade touches that I thought were excellent. Both Gemma and Jack are chemistry teachers and the seating plan was designed around the periodic table. Later in the evening there were little bunches of test tubes filled with home made cocktails for the guests to enjoy. I was driving otherwise I would have loved to have had a sip.
And in case you were wondering, the pebbles around the bottom of the cake are all made of chocolate and were completely edible – I know because I tried a few… And in the 12th picture the lady on the far left is Gemma’s mum. She was recently married herself and, for
their first dance, her and her new husband danced to Chuck Berry in a
Pulp Fiction style. She obviously liked it so much that occasionally she would feel the need to spontaneously relive the moment, much to everyone’s amusement.
