Real Weddings: Jodie & Joe's Wedding at The Oriel St Asaph by Gill Jones Photography

Good morning my lovely readers. Today is a good day as it is my Birthday whoop! Its not a big birthday but as I always tell my parents every Birthday is equally as important. Bizarrely my little sister has the same birthday as me and today she celebrates her 21st Birthday - so Happy Birthday to her, I can't believe where all these years have gone!

I don't know if I have mentioned it before but I am actually Welsh and I am from St Asaph so I have very fond memories of going back there and exploring much of North Wales as I have grown up with my parents and sister. So I do get very excited when I see a Wedding from that neck of the woods.

Today's real wedding comes via Gill Jones Photography who I featured a few weeks back at another rather fabulous wedding. We have Jodie and Joe in the spotlight today for their Wedding at The Oriel.

Jodie and Joe’s  wedding was wonderful, it was relaxed, warm, friendly, romantic and full of joy, it was a real family celebration. Their children Podrick and Nye along with their cousins and friends made full use of the country fair games and the weather allowed everyone to relax outside in the sunshine. I don’t usually post group shots but even they were relaxed, with Mums ‘connecting and belonging’ beautifully. One of my favourite moments had to be when Podrick gave his reading, his family were bursting with pride and there were lots of hugs from Mum.  Oh and I must mention Jodie’s dress,  it’s definitely in my top three for this year. Thanks as always to my super second shooter Olga.

Real Weddings: Corissa & Martin's Anglesey Wedding photographed by Karli Harrison

Morning one and all, how are you today? Seeking some real wedding inspiration? Well today we have something rather fabulous from today's Real Wedding.

Today we are in Anglesey, a place which I really love. Corissa and Martin are the stars of today's wedding and it is photographed by Karli Harrison who today I believe makes her Bliss Weddings Blog debut. And what a wonderful one it is.

I said last week I love it when you can have your reception in the grounds of a family home and they have been able to do just this. Read what Karli has to say and then grab a brew and take a browse through these photographs.

The beautiful Corissa and Martin celebrated their beautiful day on the island of Anglesey, Wales. It was a stunning wedding from start to finish, but what really struck me was how friendly and fun everyone was to be around! You can have a beautiful wedding, but if the people aren’t lovely there’s something missing. Corissa and Martin’s day was definitely complete! Taking place on the cliff side overlooking the sea, Corissa chose to get ready at her In-law’s beautiful house which is also where the  evening reception took place in a beautiful marquee literally 5 feet from the edge of the drop down to the beach. It was full of many beautiful little touches, but I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves!

Corissa and Martin, thank you both again for choosing me to be your photographer! It was a pleasure joining you for your perfect day. I hope to see you again in the future. Here’s some favourites from your amazing day, enjoy!

    

Real Weddings: Natasha & Dylan's Wedding at Chateau Rhianfa photographed by Gill Jones

Happy Tuesday, how are you? 

Today we have a fabulous wedding for you! I do know that I say this quite often and also how beautiful the Bride is; but Natasha who is today's leading lady looks breathtaking. 

Her look was part crafted by Nina Wren who I actually considered for my own wedding earlier this year - the only reason I didn't have Nina is because we got married in February and as my mother kept informing me the week of the wedding for the past few years had been laid in snow and Nina was a loooooooong long away from me in Manchester.

A beautiful vintage inspired wedding from start to finish, add Chateau Rhianfa to the mix and a perfect wedding day appeared. Natasha’s creative flare  shone through. On the day she had a close team of friends and family to interpret her ideas too; so much lovely detail to work with, not to mention Natasha’s gorgeous dress. And daring! Natasha and Dylan didn’t hold back, The Duke suite was perfect for our shoot. I must mention their fabulous guests though, particularly three sassy women, they should be invited to every wedding this season,  fun guaranteed! Natasha’s hair and make-up by Nina Wren.
