Welcome to the Bliss Weddings Blog.

Well a Big Hello to you, its lovely to see you.

I am Katie and since 2010 I have been Planning & Co-ordinating Weddings.

In February 2014 I put my planning skills to good use when I got married myself to my lovely husband Ben. We got married 10 years to the day since our journey began - so as you can imagine I had set myself a big big challenge but I did pull it off even if I do say so myself.

So after a little bit of time away I am now back here to share the delights of all things Wedding. Regular features will be Honeymoon Hotspot, Wedding Venues, Pop the Questions, Soppy Sundays, Real Weddings plus much more as the blog goes on.

AND I am planning on sharing my Wedding experience with you all too.

So enjoy, come back soon and why not get in touch blissweddings@outlook.com

Katie x

Real Weddings: Pamela & Chris' Farm Wedding in Cheshire photographed by Lisa Aldersley Photography

Hello and welcome to my readers old and new. How are you all? Tuesday is upon us and as always we go to my North West roots and I do love it when I have a Lisa Aldersley Wedding to feature. I do have a bit of crush on her work.

Today we feature the wedding of Pamela and Chris who were married in Daresbury. I do love farm and barn weddings especially one whereby it is owned by the family and its a place which has been in the family for many many years. I also love seeing what that empty space can be transformed into and this one does not disappoint.

I will let Lisa take you on the journey with the introduction and of course the wonderful photographs.

Pamela and Chris had a gorgeous Cheshire farm wedding at Pamela’s family home in Daresbury. They were married in Daresbury village church and had aMahood marquee in one of the fields at Poplar Farm. With barns, haystacks, gorgeous children, a beautiful black lab called Purdy and to top it off Knickerbocker Glories for pudding it was an absolute joy to photograph.  I had the pleasure of working alongside the two Tom’s from Silk Wedding Films. Julie and Jo from Entertainment Today Event Planners and the band Groovy Revolution who as usual were amazing.  I hope you enjoy looking through the photographs.

Real Weddings: Kat & Russ' Wedding at Low Farm, Yorkshire by Tobiah Tayo Photography

Hello and Thursday is here and that does mean that the weekend is in sight! What are your plans this weekend? I don't know about you but its been a busy old week for me so I am looking forward to relaxing a little. However, we are not there yet so we are back in Yorkshire for a glorious farm Wedding today.

Tobiah Tayo Photography is responsible for the wonderful images that are about to follow. I really do think that this is some amazing piece of Wedding today! I love it when a Wedding starts with a blank canvas and then you get to see what can be created with the minds of great people. The Bride and Groom are clearly with great taste!

I am not going to make you wait any longer, lets wedding rock and roll.

Love Katie x
