The Midland Hotel in Manchester City Centre is one of the most iconic buildings within the city. Having visited there myself very recently it is sure to say that if you are looking for a wedding venue with a little bit more than a ‘hotel’ about it, it is certainly the one.
As a Grade II listed building the Midland boasts many of the original features, stunning décor and well, rather nice carpets! Those who have worked with me and Bliss Weddings will know just what I feel about venue carpets…some of the most beautiful venues have the most dreadful, ghastly carpets.
The Ceremony and Reception suites are just dashing, brimming with character and space. The venue has many possibilities available to you in terms of layout; something which is quite rare as there is normally on just enough room for everything. On another note the lighting is just fabulous; complemented by the high ceilings and perhaps even a spot of Manchester sunshine will make it the perfect backdrop to your Wedding.

With stunning views across the City, this rather classy and upmarket venue will leave you feeling like a new Bride when it comes to hotels. With fabulous bedrooms and suites to match your guests will feel like they are living the night of luxury in this hotel.
Perhaps you’d be interested to know that the possibilities extend much further than the Wedding Brochure. They are more than happy to discuss your needs on an individual basis; accommodating you, your guests and also your budget would you believe. You will probably be surprised to hear that the Wedding Breakfast comes at a very competitive rate; coupled with a rather gorgeous sounding menu choice which is sure to wow your guests on the invitations.
Remember, within Manchester your guests have the option to stay at the local Premier Inn should this be better suited to them and also should your guests wish to travel home then the train and bus stations are only a short walk away.
All in all the Midland should be a strong contender for all Manchester Brides; perhaps for even those further afield.
